1. Is there any physical verification of the candidate's disability?

--> Hi Aspirant,

For admission to NITs/IITs under PwD Category, there is not any test conducted on the students. There is only verification of medical certificate in NITs at the time of counselling. They may still check through any medical board or tell you to have a medical certificate from a good government hospital. If your medical certificate happens to be a fraud in any case, then your admission will get cancelled, and you may never be allowed to participate in JEE again. Also, they can revoke the doctor's license, if possible, in case of wrong information.

So, if you have a renewed certificate that is authorized then you need not worry and keep boosting your preparation. Best Luck👍
